Care partners and Parkinson's
With every obstacle that Cidney and I face, there is an opportunity to learn and grow. In our lives Parkinson’s became the obstacle, we tackled it, got to know it, got mad and then took action. Helping others has become our passion and mission to leave no person with Parkinson’s behind. In the beginning, we were not aware of the disease, we did not understand the effects or the future that was headed our way. Now as an advocate and Ambassador for the Davis Phinney Foundation for Parkinson’s, I have been able to have Connie Carpenter-Phinney as a mentor for being a care partner.
