Moving together - exciting times in 2020

PPLV 3rd Annual Movement Fair Logos.jpg

Hello all!

Parkinson’s Place has come a long way in its short history. Our first Movement Fair took place in January 2018. Here’s a fun flashback TV interview of PPLV Co-Founders Martie Vlcek and Cidney Donahoo on The Morning Blend.

We were at the Tony Cress Training Center that year, where Martie runs Rock Steady Boxing. We had a great speaker with Nan Little and a crowd of over 100 people from the community. It was the very first event PPLV put on and its success let us know we were on to something.

In January 2019 we slid the Movement Fair over to the Lou Ruvo Brain Center for Health. Tim Hague flew down from Canada to share his Amazing Race stories and inspiration for all. Presenters from Motorvation, Dance for PD and ComedySportz, amongst others, took to the stage to have the crowd moving, laughing, connecting and learning.

Look out January 2020: we’re hoofing it to Zappos! American Ninja Warrior Jimmy Choi will be our keynote speaker. Check out an interview I did with him for Faces of Parkinson’s here.

We’re expecting an awesome crowd - so please RSVP here to be part of the fun!
